About Our Club
The Club is very fortunate to have the experience and service of a number of qualified swimming coaches.

Together they carry out stroke technique analysis and design programmes to develop skills, speed and stamina.

David Clarke

Rachael Reilly

Youth Coach Junior (BAGCATs) Coach

David Clarke is a fully qualified ASA Coach with over twenty year experience.

For the last five years David and Rachel have been running a successful swimming business called Streamline based at the pool at Wrekin College. Also, during the past four years he has been involved in all Wrekin College's swimming activities, including the College swim team.

Before then, David was the Head Coach at Oakengates Swimming Club where he took the team from the West Midland Speedo League Division 4 to Division 1 in consecutive years and also led the team to become the top club in the Shropshire Counties three years running 2001-2004.

David has coached many swimmers over the years to Midland and National level and has also had success with swimmers in the Welsh Nationals.

Over the years David has been Shropshires Team Manager, Salopia Coach, Active Sports Coach, Telford Development Coach and has also attended many coaching seminars and camps.

Rachel Reilly is a qualified ASA Club Coach and has been coaching Junior swimmers for over 10 years.

For the last five years Rachel along with David Clarke has been running a successful swimming business called Streamline based at the pool at Wrekin College.

Before then Rachel was the Head Junior coach at Oakengates Swimming Club where she coached the Junior team to the Nuneaton Junior league finals.

Over the past several years Rachel has coached many swimmers to Midland and National Bagcats standard and also has had success with swimmers in the Welsh and Scottish Nationals.

Also over the years Rachel has assisted at County and Active Sport Training Camps and also has attended many coaching seminars and camps.

Streamline Academy

Streamline Swimming Academy was founded in 2004 by David Clarke and Rachel Reilly in response to the demand for additional pool time for swimmers in the county of Shropshire. The Academy is based at Wrekin College in Wellington.
