Training times shown are standard times for the squad. Circumstances may cause these details to change at short notices. If possible a notice will be posted on this web page to let swimmers and parents know of any temporary changes.

Squad aims:Concentrating on stroke work and drills, building up stamina. Learning sprint work, relays and individual medleys. Teaching chain swimming and lane etiquette in preparation for swimming in dedicated lanes.

All morning sessions will include a 15 minute land warm up. (to include skipping)
Squad aims:Swimmers will be placed into ability lanes working on drills to improve stamina and fitness whilst continuing to refine technique. Training includes aerobic and sprint work, covering an average of 4,000 – 6,000 metres per session, learning to read and use a pace clock. Progression to David's Senior Squad dependent on coaches recommendation, swimmers ability, attendance, age and attitude. Training towards County, District and Nations times.

Squad aims:Train the energy systems. Increasing the sessions and meterage. Working on improving technique, advanced skills and drills. Working on race pace work and introducing anaerobic through to advanced sets. Preparing for District, National and International Levels.

Streamline Academy

Streamline Swimming Academy was founded in 2004 by David Clarke and Rachel Reilly in response to the demand for additional pool time for swimmers in the county of Shropshire. The Academy is based at Wrekin College in Wellington.
