IMPORTANT PROCEDURES

Acceptance Reports & Withdrawal prior to the Day of Meet
The club coordinator is responsible for checking the acceptance report in conjunction with the draft programme on the website) and reporting, errors, discrepancies and known withdrawals to the event administrator as soon as possible by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Withdrawals on the Day of Meet

Notification of the withdrawal of any swimmer shall be reported to the Recorder, one hour prior to the start of the session. Withdrawals must be reported using the official forms provided. For last minute emergencies then a text message may be sent to 07923 430711. Note this phone is only active on the day of meet and is for last minute unforeseen problems, it is not an alternative to completing and handing in an official withdrawal form.
Notice of withdrawal from a final, including reserves, shall be given to the Meet Manager within 1 hour of the publication of the list of finalists, but no later than 30mins after the end of the session.

Failure to comply with these conditions shall result in a fine of £10 for a heat and £20 for a final which must be paid before the swimmer competes again in the Championships. In the event of a swimmer not paying the fine, the club in whose name the swimmer has entered the competition shall be responsible for payment. Withdrawals after these deadlines may only be made on medical grounds

Warm Up / Swim Down
Warm up procedure will be as announced on the day. Swimmers must pay attention to the announcements and instructions given by the Warm-up Marshals. If necessary warm ups may be split. Each coach is responsible for their own swimmers, and a swimmer must not enter the warm-up without being under their coaches supervision. The community pool must only be used for swim down as directed, any abuse of this facility will result in it being withdrawn.

Coaches Passes
In accordance with ASA guidelines for child protection coaches passes cannot be purchased on the day of the meet. Details and application form can be found on the website.
