David ClarkeOn the 24th October 2009, Wrekin College's Youth Coach David Clarke competed at the National Masters Championships held at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.

After previously gaining three records earlier in the year at the Midlands District Masters, Youth Coach David lead by example and went on to gain 3 silver medals and a further two more Midland District records in the 800M and 1500M freestyle at this highly prestige event.

After his 1500M freestyle swim David said:

Even though I was over the moon with my swim it was a long way to be in pain. But I did feel a lot better after my swim down.
